In the pursuit of becoming a mainstay in the fitness and massage industries, it has been a delight to watch not only these industries grow, but also enjoy our own growth in knowledge and application.

Bringing massage techniques that have gained recognition for more than 40 years of practice to this continuously evolving community. That’s 12 years in Physical Therapy acute care (handling of “new” injuries), 25 years of working in Sports Massage Therapy in (Gyms) while overlapping 10 of those years working with Chiropractic Care, and most recently embracing the opportunity to meet the needs of the Yoga industry under the Yoga Tree. Completing a triad of health and fitness with mind/body.

With this extensive background, we can talk of dealing with wide spectrums of body types, fitness levels (or lack of), sports, work loads, physical lifestyles, travel schedules, and time spent sitting. Of which, assists us in finding a balance in routines of movements and periods of rest that can make a difference.

Our multifunctional massage techniques take aim at a satisfying relaxing getaway. Providing an environment that allows you to unplug from your world of movement or the contrary, sedentary life. Yet hopefully creating a ‘carry over’ effect as you return back to your world. We continuously find ourselves revisiting an old slogan “relax, repair, replenish, rejuvenate and return” with an improved capacity to function.

With a degree in Ergonomics (the sciences related to body movement) we’re not just an “okay you’re done, see ya’ next month” massage service. Ergonomics also comes in handy when the subject turns to injuries (how you got them and how to prevent them).

We’ve brought systems and programs here designed to service the wide range of people whose lives transcend not only in the gym and in sports, but also in the workplace, school, while traveling, at leisure, dance, through a commute, and even parenting.

It’s our policy at Dr’s Orders Massage to get involved with what ails you, stop it, and figure out why it happened. Then devise proper body mechanics to prevent recurring issues. Technique, technique, technique is our mantra once you’re off the table. We’re pushing good body mechanics, safety, posture and proper techniques around the clock. With an injection of strengthening and stretching.

Knowledge is one of your best allies when you’re trying to keep your body performing at it’s highest levels over time, in any arena. And we are here to help you accomplish exactly that.

Massage isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.

Come find out why.
